• From 11 till 18 November, we went  to England with BTS students. We stayed in host families. During this trip to Plymouth, we visited several companies such as “The Pavillions”, a leisure  center with an ice-rink and a swimming pool, or “Somerfield”, a typically British supermarket.
  We also had a guided tour of Plymouth historic city center.
  Every morning, we had a three-hour lesson  with a teacher who spoke English only.
  We also did various activities throughout the week: we went to the bowling, we visited the Aquarium and Exeter.
  We admired the Christmas lights.
  Thanks to this trip we have been able not only to improve our English, but also to make new friends.

• Every year, the UNESCO club in the school organizes a special day to  communicate about sustainable development and education to Peace.
  This year it took place on January, 25. The pupils saw the film “Paris according to Moussa” (about cultural misunderstandings, and its consequences, and undocumented immigrants) which won an award from the UNESCO. There was also an interactive play about globalization with the example of the banana trade, a lecture about Israel and Palestine - is peace possible between those 2 countries? - as well as a conference about the problem of paper today.

  Following this day, we will soon sign a partnership with an association “Peace Now” that will lead to mail exchanges in English with  Palestinian and Israeli schools,  between teachers to start with.
